AN EXCEPTIONAL STAY!
We had the pleasure of staying in Borgo dell'Uccellaia at the beginning of June 2026. Our week was wonderful. Georges and I would like to thank Laura and her husband for their warm welcome, kindness, and helpfulness. Thank you for all their information and advice. The Amethyst apartment we rented is wonderfully located with a breathtaking view overlooking the sea and Marciana Marina. Unforgettable sunrises and sunsets! The apartment is very well equipped. The kitchen has everything you need. We appreciated the two terraces adjoining the kitchen. The bedroom is beautiful, spacious, and offers plenty of storage. It's beautifully decorated and has a very comfortable bed. The room has two windows and a French door. There are two lovely, well-equipped bathrooms, one with a washing machine. Very importantly, all the windows and French doors have mosquito nets. And finally, the icing on the cake is the swimming pool! Absolutely magnificent, nestled within a beautiful garden where caper bushes blend harmoniously with a multitude of Mediterranean plants. And let's not forget the private parking. In short, we spent a dream week in this stunning setting – it was far too short! Many thanks again to Laura and her husband. We'll be back!

Laura and Enrico are the perfect hosts, the apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the gardens immaculate, it was lovely that we could visit the vegetable patch and pick tomatoes, lettuce, plums, courgette etc. The views out over Marciana Marina are stunning and the pool is very well maintained. Both Enrico and Laura were extremely helpful when we had a problem with our hire car and communication with them was easy and prompt always.

Spent 5 nights at this magical property.Unique setting with private apartments, steps to multi-level gardens and seating areas, as well as a gorgeous pool. Our unit, Turchese, included an upstairs patio with an amazing view of Marciana Marina’s rooftops, countryside, and seafront. Everything immaculate and set up for an effortless vacation. 3 minute drive to town for supermarket, restaurants, and main roads access the rest of the island.

We had a wonderful stay at Borgo dell'Uccellaia. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature and with stunning views of the sea. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The owners were friendly, welcoming, and always available to help. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the charm of Elba Island. A magnificent property on a perfectly restored terraced property.
The villa where we stayed was spacious and equipped with every comfort, with a large private fenced garden planted with all kinds of Mediterranean plants, allowing us to share a relaxing holiday with our dogs.
The view of the northern coast of Elba was beautiful.

We spent a week at Borgo dell’Uccellaia and had a really good time. The location is beautiful, with lovely views over Marciana Marina Bay, which is within easy walking distance. Our apartment had everything we needed — a well-equipped kitchen, cleaning supplies, and a nice barbecue. The owners are friendly and genuinely helpful. The property has several lovely gardens, including a vegetable garden where you can pick fresh produce for your meals, and a few terraces to relax and enjoy the view. Well worth a visit.

We stayed at the beautiful Borgo dell'Uccellaia complex for five days at the beginning of May. Our hosts were very accommodating from the start and helped with everything.
There's really not much to do, as everything is perfect, in excellent condition, and lovingly and tastefully furnished.
All the descriptions of the complex and the apartments are accurate; there's no need to repeat them here.
In summary, this is a truly exceptional complex, perfectly suited to the beautiful town of Marciana Marina.
We would love to come back.

We just spent 14 days in this beautiful accommodation. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic; you immediately feel at home and on vacation. The hosts are incredibly helpful and friendly. They gave us lots of tips so we could explore the island. Since we had our motorcycles with us and the weather cooperated, it was a wonderful time. If you're looking for a lovely, relaxing vacation in a great setting, this is the perfect place! 👍 👌👍

We had two wonderful weeks at Casa Quarzo from the end of September to the beginning of October.
The accommodations are perfect, so even the occasional rainy day is easily manageable.
The property is large and extremely well-maintained – including a vegetable garden. If you don't want to, you won't see a soul.
The hosts are always available and offer helpful tips.

We stayed there for a week and felt very comfortable. Everything is exactly as described. The apartment is fully equipped, lacks nothing, and is in immaculate condition. The view of the sea is indescribably beautiful. The same applies to the entire complex, with its pool, vegetable garden, and various terraces.
In addition, the owners are very personable and super friendly.

The best thing about it is the location, with its wonderful view. The property is divided into several terraces and beautifully landscaped, including a vegetable garden that guests can use. The pool, which was available to all guests, was right next to our holiday home, and we didn't find this bothersome at all. The harbor in the picturesque village is a 15-minute walk away. Laura and Enrico were excellent hosts.

Simply fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful apartment. Everything was perfectly arranged, and the gardens are beautifully landscaped. The fresh herbs and tomatoes were delicious. We'll definitely be back. Questions and other requests were answered quickly and the staff were very helpful. In short, if we return to Elba, we know where to go.

The only negative aspect isn't theirs, but rather the ESA (Elba Environmental Services) agency, which provides poor-quality organic waste bags.
When we return to Elba, we will definitely stay at Uccellaia again.

5 stars doesn't even come close - 5 diamonds would be our choice.
Laura and Enrico are very personable and warmly welcoming.
The design of the individual holiday apartments/bungalows, as well as the entire resort, is a dream and palpably imbued with passion. Everything is well thought out, well-thought-out, and very well-maintained. The vegetable garden is amazing!
We've only been back in Munich for a few days, but we're already in the private planning approval process for our next stay at the "Borgo."

My family and I had an amazing week at Borgo dell’Uccellaia. We enjoyed the apartment with the terrace a lot - the location is beautiful, overlooking the sea and the village - as well as the garden with the pool and the vegetable garden. The location is also great, with a short walk to the village and the beach. Thanks for having us, we would love to come back again!

Enchanting, immersed in the tranquility of nature among carefully tended flowers and plants, with various relaxation areas, located in an elevated position offering breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding mountains.
We stayed 9 days in the Giada residence, where we enjoyed a spotlessly clean and fully equipped house: nothing was missing!

We stayed for a week in August. The Emerald Apartment. New, elegant furnishings. Impeccably clean. We were able to use the garden free of charge, with locally sourced, delicious produce (I still dream about the cherry tomatoes and blackberries). Laura was super responsive to all my requests. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing stay! The property is super quiet with stunning views, especially from the large rooftop terrace. Very spacious, with two terraces, comfy lounge areas, and a great grill. The apartment was spotless and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. Air conditioning in every room worked perfectly. You can park right in front of the apartment – very convenient! The whole estate is beautifully maintained, full of flowers and greenery – truly idyllic. Laura, the host, is incredibly warm and welcoming. She greeted us personally and made sure we had everything we needed. The shared saltwater pool is also great, just a 2–3 minute walk downhill. Since two other apartments are right next to it, we didn’t spend too much time there to avoid disturbing anyone – not a complaint, just good to know. All in all: a peaceful, beautiful place. We’d love to come back!

This is a fantastic place, living in a garden with the open view on Marciana Marina and on the see. The apartment was beautifully decorated, fully equipped, clean and very comfortable. We fully enjoyed our time at Borgo. The garden was a definitive highlight, spreading over terrasses, all equipped and accessible with a fantastic view. The pool as a dream. Last but not least, the hosts were responsive, careful about every details, and very committed.

It was a dream - our holiday home, the Quartzo, had everything you could wish for, well furnished, stylish and tasteful down to the last detail. The hosts Laura & Enrico are very courteous, always trying hard and friendly.
The spacious, wonderful, very well-kept garden invites you to linger. The fantastic view of the sea, the idyll a little away from the town center, the magical house, the friendly, helpful hosts, all of this really appealed to us and enchanted us!

I stayed at Borgo dell'Uccellaia residence Ambra for the past two weeks. Il Posto is an enchanting place, a place where you can find privacy and peace of mind in all respects. The hosts Laura and Errico were friendly and helpful from the beginning and this made our holiday even more pleasant. The place is taken care of down to the smallest detail, there is truly nothing out of place, totally immersed in the most lively nature. I strongly recommend staying there also because it is in a very convenient and easily accessible position and I also advise the hosts to update the site with photos perhaps from above because already currently on the site it seems like an enchanting place but nothing compared to what it currently is, i.e. a truly enormous residence with lots of relaxation areas, botanical gardens and super-kept plants and vegetation. Special thanks to the hosts for this splendid experience, certainly the only place I would reconsider for a stay on the island of Elba.

I stayed at Borgo dell'Uccellaia last week, together with my daughter.
The place is simply wonderful, totally immersed in nature and at the same time close to the center of Marciana Marina.
During the day we particularly appreciated the sea water swimming pool and the relaxation areas located in various parts of the garden, equipped with tables, benches and hammocks. In the evening, we were able to admire the view which is truly suggestive because from the panoramic terraces, which among other things are equipped with truly unique taste and refinement, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the gulf below and you can relax chatting underneath the starry sky.
We were in the Turchese apartment, equipped with all comforts, I found much more there than I could have imagined. There is not a detail that has not been thought of to make the stay comfortable and special and in every corner of the house you can perceive great attention towards the guest.
Laura and Enrico are very helpful, pleasant and welcoming hosts and after meeting them in person I understood much more about the beauty that envelops and surrounds you as soon as you enter the Borgo.

This is a very beautiful house. The environment is very good because it is on the mountain, so the air is very good. The facilities are complete in all aspects, there are no mosquitoes, and the yard is also large, so it is a good choice to bring children here. It was very quiet and relaxing to sleep at night. The bedding is also very good. There is a balcony below that can see the sea and the entire city. The view is very good. The two landlords are very nice. I will choose to subscribe here again. It is very good.

Very nice place with attention to the smallest details with style and a choice of furniture and furnishings in general that is certainly above average. Very very pleasant swimming pool with sea water. Structure that, despite hosting multiple guests, is able to provide full privacy

One week stay in the Smeraldo apartment. The place is wonderful: the apartment is large, very clean, organized with great attention to detail, but above all surrounded by a very pleasant and well-kept garden. From here, with a short staircase you can go down to the swimming pool for the exclusive use of the Borgo, or simply relax on the solarium terrace overlooking the apartment with a splendid view of the sea and Marciana Marina. We are ten minutes from the beaches and the town, but at the same time it is possible to enjoy absolute peace and tranquility.
Special thanks to the owners and in particular to Laura, capable of looking after the guests discreetly but always with a very kind and attentive look. I highly recommend it: it will certainly be a point of reference for our next holidays on the island.

Our stay at Borgo dell'Uccellaia was more than amazing. We planned on staying three night but after a few hours later we knew we must try and stay longer. Giuseppe and Laura were exceptional host, we were greeted by both of them and spoiled with homemade delicious treats, fresh fruit and much more. We don’t speak Italian but Laura speaks and understand English enough that everything was very pleasant and smooth. We would recommend anyone to stay at Borgo dell'Uccellaia. It’s away from town and the grounds of the property are gorgeous with stunning views of the bay. We felt safe and loved the morning and evening sunsets on the upper balcony with wine, Prosecco or morning Expressos. The accommodations and cleanliness are impeccable. There is so much to do and see on Elba Island we could of spent a month. We will definitively be visiting again.
